Frequently asked questions
What does a minute get me?
A story that runs 5 minutes uses 5 minutes of your balance, so the 30 minutes on Starter make about 6 bedtime stories a month. If a story doesn't finish, you aren't charged for it.
What's the difference between Flash and Premium voices?
Flash voices are fast and clear, and they suit most stories. Premium voices are more expressive and natural, which helps with emotional or dramatic stories. On Creator, an extra Premium minute costs $0.20 more than an extra Flash minute.
What happens if I go over my monthly minutes?
Paid plans keep going, and the extra minutes are billed after the period ends. For example, 10 minutes extra on Starter adds $3.00. On Free, stories stop when your minutes run out; choose a plan or buy a pack to keep going.
What is Storybook?
Storybook illustrates each part of your story with a picture, and the pictures change as the audio plays. It comes with Creator, Pro, and Teacher's Edition.
Do minutes roll over?
Subscription minutes reset each billing period. Minutes you buy in a pack never expire.
